Child safety standards

ParishConnect has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for any content or behaviour that endangers minors. We are committed to keeping the platform safe for every family and child whose parish uses it.

ParishConnect is a parish management tool: member directories, family records, mass timings, events, and parish notifications. Accounts are created and managed by verified parish administrators. There are no public child profiles, no open chat between strangers, and no user-generated public feeds.

Member and family information is visible to the authorized administrators of the parish or diocese the family belongs to, and to signed-in members of the same parish through the parish directory in the mobile app. Every family and member decides how much of their information is shared — contact details, date of birth, job details and addresses can each be marked private, and hidden fields are never shown to other parish members. Access is authenticated, scoped per parish, and logged.

If you see content or behaviour on ParishConnect that may endanger a child, report it immediately to support@parishconnect.app. We review every report promptly, remove violating content, suspend or remove offending accounts, and report CSAE to the appropriate authorities where required by law.

ParishConnect complies with applicable child-protection laws and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy. We review these standards regularly and update our practices as requirements evolve.
